InterInnov in Senegal

InterInnov has been selected to support the design of an accelerator programme for the Gaston Berger University in Senegal, in the framework CEA MITIC (African Centre of Excellence in Mathematics, Computer Science and ICT). InterInnov’s Senior Consultant Géraldine Quetin made her first visit to Saint-Louis and Dakar, to meet the ecosystem, define priorities and start designing an action plan.

The CEA MITIC wants to accelerate the transformation of their scientific assets though technology transfer and by supporting the creation of start-ups support. Their strengths include sophisticated laboratories with dynamic researchers and students (Master and Doctoral levels) in Computer Science, Electronics and

Telecommunication. Current programs include: Applied Mathematics, Computer Science & ICT Engineering, Information Systems Development, Network and Telecommunications, Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering, Renewable Energies, Computer Science Methods Applied to Business Management.

InterInnov will deliver its first recommendations shortly and will continue to work hand in hand with CEA MITIC for a total duration of three years.
